SAEL’s Corporate Responsibility efforts are aligned with the Sustainable Development goals of the UN for 2030 and as an organization, we have been committed to community development through various opportunities created by our initiatives. We take our corporate responsibility very seriously.

We build systems that support the Food Security programmes of the Government of India.
A training centre for women to gain respectful employment and to become self-sufficient. Gender gap issues are addressed and awareness is created around the issues that impact them.
We support the wellbeing of local talent and have built facilities to promote access to sports and fitness activities to build an active community.
KEY PROGRAMMES AND INITIATIVES
Free soil tests are conducted to determine the fertility of the soil, and this helps eliminate the uncertainty associated with any fertilizer requirements or problems the farmers may have.
Labs have been set up to conduct necessary tests. It also helps farmers struggling with plant pests and diseases. Diagnoses and management advice for any problem and any crop are then found and dealt with.
Annual Farmer Seminars
The objective of “Kisan Mela” is to encourage the agro-commercial sector, agro-based industries, and export-oriented markets, scientists to produce their optimum potential products and research findings for farming and business community to use in achieving the goal of sustainable food security and agriculture sector in the country.
It is an annual seminar conducted for the welfare of farmers and farmer participation during these sessions enable us to reach out directly to this targeted segment. Core issues discussed during the seminar include soil health, soil testing, crop productivity, organic farming, agri-waste management, etc.
Supporting Underprivileged Children
SAEL supports the work carried out by Samarpan Sanstha dedicated to the upliftment of differently-abled children. Established in 2003, Samarpan Sansthan’s mission is to empower deprived children and women in India. The NGO has done remarkable work in improving the lives of those from economically and socially backward strata of society. Land required for the centre was donated by SAEL and has continued to support further initiatives of the NGO. This encourages responsible behaviour and gives a ray of hope to those who have been denied the privilege to lead a cordial life.
Supporting Underprivileged Women
The organization is involved in uplifting the lives of women belonging to underprivileged backgrounds. Monetary support, as well as other necessary support, is provided to these women to assist them in making better life choices. Marriages of 21 such poor women were arranged and fully supported by the organization.
Contribution to Ganga Aarti
Today the river Ganges, a divine gift to mortals, needs the revival of its ancient lustre, purity and dignity in human mind and action in accordance. Ganga Seva Nidhi starts Daily Ganga Aarti with an appeal for environmental protection. Daily Ganga Aarti appreciated the world over and now a part of Incredible India posters released by the Culture and Tourism Department of Government of India. Sukhbir Agro Energy Ltd. is playing an important role by donating funds to fulfil the purpose of Ganga Seva Nidhi such as Cleaning, Ganga Arati etc.
Gatka Martial Arts Academy
Innovation and sustainability are the two buzzwords that guide all endeavours at SAEL. The organization provides education and skills to develop GATKA Martial art academy. The students of the academy are provided with opportunities to display their skill at various community events. Qualified trainers impart the training required at various levels. Martial arts training and sports meets are organized to keep the local communities engaged and active. Traditional martial art ‘Gatka’ is promoted as a sport.
